I first visited Australia in 1993 and fell in love with the climate and outstanding natural beauty of the Queensland landscape; from the rugged and unforgiving terrain of the outback to the pristine white sandy beaches, turquoise seas, lush rainforests and mountains of the coastal fringes.
After emigrating from the UK in 1995 I pursued a variety of careers before deciding to concentrate full time on my art.
I am a self-taught artist but have attended workshops with some of Australia’s best known painters, such as Mark Waller, Joseph Zbukvic, John Wilson and John Lovett in an on-going quest to hone my skills. I am a member of the Pastel Society of Australia.
I have completed hundreds of works in oils, pastels, graphite, watercolour, ink, acrylic and coloured pencils. My favourite subjects are animals, landscapes and portraiture although I also enjoy still life and abstracts.
I accept commissions and my work is in private collections in Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada and America.
